is there an arg?



important note: this page is written entirely out of character. i play a character on both tumblr and youtube, and don't respond out of character on either.

what's included in the story:
anything else, such as my #icarus plays minecraft tag, can add tons more context, but isn't explicitly part of the narrative.
also please remember we're, like, actual people outside of the characters we play for the story.
we use our blogs for other things entirely unrelated to the whole thing.


i consider it more unfiction than an alternate reality game.
there's not many puzzles and such here, but there's a few things hidden here and there in the posts and youtube videos.
otherwise, not much in-depth. it's more narrative/story-driven than it is puzzlesolving-driven.

i suppose it depends on semantics - it's interactive enough, with the comments and my blog,
and the minecraft community seems to consider unfiction and args the same thing at large.
i just feel like i'm not putting enough effort into it for it to be considered an arg.

with that out of the way..... i dunno. it's like playing pretend on the internet for me.
i just like making art, and minecraft is maybe one of my favorite mediums to play around with.
i like telling stories and i like making art, something that you can do plenty of with minecraft.
a lot of it is improv, there's barely any, if any script to this. we're just having fun.

my #icarus plays minecraft tag, and honestly posting on my blog in general, has been going on for far longer than i've been posting videos.
it's my personal blog, i post whatever, i'm an artist, i post my art n stuff on there too. same goes for any friends involved.
their personal accounts, they post about stuff unrelated to this story, they're also people.
our accounts don't exist explicitly for the purpose of the story — they exist for us to do whatever on.
