hello! this web page will give you a hopefully in-depth enough tutorial/guide on how to make a texture pack for minecraft.
this is aimed at 1.21.11, but all of the steps should still work just fine for older and newer versions because of the way this is being done!

i will start with a template tutorial, but after the template tutorial will be a completely manual one, incase you prefer that :)
there are also links right above this paragraph that lead to either tutorial! and if you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask!

an important note for texture packs, and minecraft versions

depending on the version, you will want to put a specific number for min_version. you will find a table for all of these when it comes up!
