Speedrunner
Played very casually until around 2018 when it started speedrunning. Used to play on the old GDFG SMPs when they were still a thing and collected various plants and miscellaneous items. They have never submitted a run to the leaderboards or competed in MCSR Ranked, speedrunning just as a hobby for fun. They do it only to test their own skills and not for the sake of competition, but they do keep up with new strats as they're found. Not too public in any community they're in, usually just a lurker and really only talk actively with people they know or in certain stream chats or youtube comments. She has a 12:51 PB in 1.16.1 RSG, and doesn't really touch other categories other than occasionally playing Recent Version RSG even though it sucks so so bad because of the piglin barter rates and new terrain. Whenever not speedrunning, It'll play on SMPs with other people on the off-chance someone else is online. Though, a recent experience has had them speedrunning less and staying a ways off from entering The End.

friendly
He's just trying to exist. He doesn't want to hurt anyone and is very thankful whenever someone gives him the time of their day to be nice to him or give him something. He lives in a small house dug into some mesa farlands, with just enough space for him to keep all his things. His world-hopping used to be very random, unpredictable and uncontrollable, but he's since learned how to control it and mostly go wherever he wants (even if there's a few he can't seem to find his way back to). He doesn't have much, or know much — it's very few versions he can go between without the help of a player, most of them outright refusing his existence altogether, leaving him unable to enter any worlds or servers on said versions. Still a little scarred from being killed by a red-haired player, but Icaruin has taught him a lot and he's quite fond of her, and very thankful for the netherite chestplate and pickaxe ae gave him; giving her a studded chestplate as a thanks. He wonders what happened to the Villager that was nice to him and placed a Cornflower on the Grass Block he gave them.

Herobrine's cat! Full of joy and whimsy. Originally found as an ocelot in an old village, he befriended her and later tamed her, the game turning her into a black cat. She's full of life and loves exploring with Herobrine, often picking up small items during the night whenever he sleeps to bring them to him. Something about her looks slightly off to any attentive player, however; her ears are bigger, pointer and tuftier than that of a regular cat, her collar is an odd bright ice blue with a golden bell, her fur slightly colorpointed with a tufted tail, and she has two small white heart-shaped spots — one on her nose and the other on her chest. She will often observe any players they run into, walking closer to them if she deems they are not a threat to learn more about them, very occasionally giving them the odd item.

Casual
Icaruin has played minecraft for well over a decade, never changing aer username despite originally playing Pocket Edition and moving to Java in december of 2011. She spends her time playing on regular survival worlds whenever there's time for it, sometimes just sitting around nothing other than fishing or breaking and placing the same few blocks over and over. She stays mostly to herself, regardless of if she's playing on an SMP or singleplayer, generally minding aer own business and taking everything very slowly, while hoarding many different valuables and other items. Ever since spyglasses were added, ae's always had one in aer offhand (originally a slot reserved for her compass), simply because she can't be bothered to install a zoom mod; sodium is enough, she's not too big on playing modded. Ae has multiple old survival worlds lying about, their playtime differing for each; some have been spent months or years in, while others only a few minutes or hours — the most recent a 7+ year old world that she keeps coming back to, ever since running into Herobrine and giving him aer chestplate and pickaxe.

Competitive (badly)
Young and very new to minecraft (and games and the internet in general), wildfire114_ is very inexperienced in the game but it doesn't stop them from being extremely competitive with their friends when they play together. When their friends are busy and they can't play on the (free serverhosted) SMP, they either try playing hardcore (and fail miserably for the nth time) or play on their maybe slightly (very) cheated survival world (despite how much they tell everyone, they did not get that unenchanted diamond pickaxe legit) that they keep telling their friends is haunted by herobrine because they killed him right there by that weird world generation that just appeared one day. Not that anyone believes that they actually saw and killed herobrine, because he's just a myth. Their only experience with Herobrine myths is that he is evil and wants to kill everything. They don't know much about the game (nor do they know the wiki exists), but they're trying their best. They have at least 11 TNT spam worlds, can't stick to a single base, and play whenever they're bored and don't have homework to do (and often even when they do).

Very Casual
While not new to the game, they definently seem like it. When playing with others, whenever once-in-a-blue-moon that is, they're always asking "what the hell is that" or "how do i craft this. i cant figure it out"; they don't know the wiki exists and nobody has told them, bless their heart. It doesn't need new things often, rather just sticking to what few things they already have in their world, have found generated in structures or have been told about by other people. Explorer by heart, wandering over yonder everywhere, they'll build a small little house with a labyrinthine basement to anyone that isn't them basement for storing all the things they've found. Their go-to armor set is a turtle helmet, diamond chestplate, gold leggings and leather boots — it's all functionality! The turtle helmet gives them temporary water breathing, the gold leggings pacify piglins and the leather boots stop them from falling into powdered snow. They think beetroot soup is the best food because they keep finding beetroot seeds in end cities.

dragon
An odd, red, feathered dragon that follows silverlight wherever they go, no matter the world or server. He likes hunting for fish and occasionally throwing silverlight on his back. Nobody else can really get close to him, and no matter how much they ask about him, silverlight doesn't know a thing about him or why he's there. One day silverlight was simply out 'sploring like they always are, saw a weird glitched dragon, went over to it only to see it'd disappeared and left an egg in its place which then later hatched into a small (and stupid looking) baby dragon. They'd posted on the forums about him, but nobody believed him and thought they were just playing with mods, even though silverlight for the life of them couldn't find out how to download mods back in 2015 and then never tried again. Although, Crest (named after his stupid looking crest when he was a hatchling) isn't caused by any mods, not even Herobrine could explain where he came from, even if he knows of Crest; they've seen eachother a few times. Not that silverlight knows, they don't even know about Herobrine in the first place.

Resource Gatherer & Builder
Will often look up mob and resource farms to set them up so everyone has somewhere to get their stuff quickly. He would often grind for himself so he could grind for everyone else after if they still needed gear, and would always provide gear for someone if they joined late and needed some, or died and lost all theirs. He isn't a very technical or knowledgeable player, he's just good at finding information and tutorials for various things. GDFG was the first ever friend group he was ever a part of, and while GDFG itself is still active, barely any of them have ever played together in recent times, either because they've got their jobs to do, lives to live, or are playing other games. Played Minecraft very actively around 2015-2018, semi-actively 2019-2021 and then stopped. He hasn't played minecraft in a looooooong while, especially not singleplayer, and all the private servers he used to play on are either shut down by decision of the friend group, or stopped running because people stopped playing on them, but he still kept their IPs on his server list just because. But why are all of them suddenly online without anyone saying anything about it....?

Technical
Definently knew a bit too much about the game; could tell you any duplication exploit by heart and knew how to exploit any feature to its fullest potential. Knew a bunch of old and niche bugs, useful or not. Contributed to the MCWiki very often and was extremely close with 1Twig. They were an extremely technical player, and always kept up with the technical and redstone scenes out of sheer fascination and curiosity — loved learning about the game, basically knew all the ins and outs of it's code, and speedran it privately very often. Played on GDFG's two SMPs with 1Twig, among many others, but hasn't been online since some time in 2016, despite their account showing as perpetually logged into one of the old GDFG SMPs, even after it was shut down. Nobody really knows what happened to them, and sometimes they could swear they'd see a message from them in chat (either on one of the SMPs or in a singleplayer world) after they vanished, but once they opened chat it'd no longer be there.

Ghost
Very much a recluse and very much of a ghost. It never spoke to people despite being in various chatrooms and discord servers, massive lurker. Part of GDFG but hasn't said a single thing on the discord server. Only ever speaks to people when they play together on a Minecraft server. Knows a bit of redstone, quite fond of building random boxes in random places, and just exists in its own time. Used to freak people out by saying something out of nowhere while online on an SMP because nobody had noticed they were online or had joined. Will often bring up random facts or things about someone that they mentioned once because they have a freakish memory. Nobody knows how they got to keep their illegal username after Mojang purged all the illegal usernames, and nobody wants to ask or out them either.

Ghost, Modder
Compared to Swift-song, gamma is even more of a ghost; there's maybe only fifteen chatlogs ever that they have appeared in. Their username has changed a few times throughout the years, but they ended up on gammaNull in 2017 and kept it since. With the popularity of creepypastas and ARGs rising, others in GDFG often joke about their username sounding like a creepypasta or ARG entity. Now what would've been over a decade ago, they'd asked everyone in GDFG what everyone had always wanted as a pet or mount in Minecraft, and a month later returned with a mod named GDFGMounts.jar. They know a lot about bugs and glitches in the game, to a point where everyone is sure either myriad taught them, or they're a developer for the game. The first time someone joked about them being a Minecraft developer, they responded "no comment"; the fourth-ever message they sent in the GDFG server, where they send a message maybe every few months to years. Despite that, they will often sit in voice chat with others while streaming their modding process and chill.

Explorer
He'll put a base down and then keep exploring the world, only coming back when his inventory full of bundles and shulkers and bundles in shulkers is full. He's extremely chatty and loves talking about whatever, often talking about how his day went at the sanctuary he works at. He enjoys playing the game casually and mapping out worlds — any server he touches always has a map somewhere in his base of the world, with named banners for notable locations. On both GDFG SMPs there was a giant map in his base that was situated right underneath his humble abode that he kept adding to as he went; he'd never leave without at least a stack of empty maps in his inventory and always has cartography tables all about in any bases he has, occasionally leaving one out in the middle of the world if he needed to expand a map or two while exploring.

SMP Speedrunner
Usually just called fant or fanta for short, they'll often be seen online on the server for hours even though nobody can find them anywhere on it. Whenever an SMP first starts (or restarts), they'll speedrun to fully kitted out gear, killing the dragon (or bridging to the outer end if they've all agreed to kill it together) and grabbing some elytra before they go off to narnia and return with materials to build a base and make a tree farm. They have only two singleplayer worlds, both of which haven't been touched in 2012 since they started playing on private SMPs with people they knew, they prefer playing with friends rather than playing alone.
